Torbay Airshow - 2-3 June 2018

Torbay Airshow will return this spring with breathtaking air displays over the stunning South Devon bay. The two day show will take place over the weekend of the 2nd and 3rd June 2018 on Paignton Green offering free entertainment for all the family. The Bay provides a stunning natural amphitheatre for viewing the airshow, providing a perfect location for a large coastal airshow. The event is free to attend, with parking available to purchase in advance.

Shuttleworth Fly Navy Airshow - 3 June 2018

Fly Navy is a celebration of naval heritage aircraft from the early 1900s to 1960s. This event is supported by the outstanding work of Fly Navy Heritage Trust, who have secured a memorable line-up of extraordinary and historic aircraft for a thrilling show.

The pilot chat is about the BAE systems owned Avro Anson, with its new colour scheme.

Southwick Village D-Day Revival - 9-10 June 2018

In June 2018, for the fifth year running, the village of Southwick is joining in
partnership with Southwick Park to commemorate the anniversary of D-Day by offering an exciting and unique opportunity for visitors from all over the world to breathe in the atmosphere of those historic days at the nerve-centre of Operation Overlord.

RAF Cosford Airshow - 10 June 2018

The RAF Cosford Air Show 2018 will feature a unique mix of aircraft, spanning the 100-year history of the Royal Air Force, which will be showcased in the flying display and in our special RAF100 static exhibition. This is a never before seen collection of aircraft that gives you a once in a lifetime opportunity to see the revolution of air power over the last 100 years.

Many of the ground displays at the Air Show this year will be focused on our unique RAF100 static exhibition. Our ambitious vision for this important celebration means there will be even more attractive and exciting things to see and do on the ground this year, over and above our highly popular attractions.

Our hangar displays allow you to see behind the scenes at RAF Cosford and discover what training to become qualified RAF Technicians and Engineers looks like! With a number of military units based at RAF Cosford this is your opportunity to get hands on and find out what life in the Royal Air Force is really all about. There will be displays from the Defence School of Aeronautic Engineering, No.1 Radio School, Defence School of Photography, RAF School of Physical Education and many more.

Over the past 5 years, our STEM Hangar has grown to become a must-visit attraction at the Air Show. Showcasing the best that the RAF, Industry and academia have to offer in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths, the STEM Hangar is an ideal chance to get real hands on experience of what it is like to be in some of the most diverse and exciting careers available. Haven Great Yarmouth Air Show - 16-17 June 2018

Welcome to the very first Haven Great Yarmouth Air Show, organised by the Greater Yarmouth Tourism and Business Improvement Area Ltd, hosted by Norfolk’s premier seaside resort and set to be the biggest single event in East Anglia, taking place on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 June 2018.

Weston Air Festival - 23-24 June 2018

The 2018 Weston Air Festival will take place on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 June  on the Seafront and Beach Lawns in Weston-super-Mare.

The free event is a mix of spectacular aerobatic displays and armed forces celebrations. There will be trade stands and activities to entertain the whole family.

Llandudno Armed Forces Day - 30 June 2018

The 2018 National Event will be held in the historic North Wales seaside town of Llandudno in Conwy on Saturday 30th June 2018.

North Wales has many current and historic links to the Armed Forces, including many Regular and Reserve Army units.

Wales Airshow - 30 June-1 July 2018

The free Wales Airshow will be returning to Swansea Bay on Saturday June 30 and Sunday July 1 2018. Breathtaking aerobatic displays, state-of-the-art military aircraft and vintage planes from the past thrilled over 250,000 visitors in Swansea Bay last summer.

Last year smashed our attendance record, the weather was perfect and we feel it was the best ever!  We’re looking to make 2018 even bigger with even more exciting air display teams and entertainment.

The Battle of Britain Air Show - 30 June-1 July 2018

The Battle of Britain Air Show with attractions for all the family which include flight experiences, a funfair and stalls.

Between 2-5pm enjoy our Battle of Britain display featuring representative aircraft from the Battle of Britain era.

Spitfires,  Hurricanes and other aircraft of the period such as the Tiger Moth and Harvard T6 will also take part. This activity is courtesy of the fabulous Aero Legends.

Battle of Britain Memorial Day - 1 July 2018

Memorial Day is held on one of the two Sundays closest to the first day of the Battle, which began on 10 July, 1940. In 2018 it will take place on 1st July and will mark the 25th anniversary of the unveiling of the National Memorial to the Few, will be on Sunday 1 July.

Yeovilton Air Day - 7 July 2018

The annual Royal Naval Air Station (RNAS) Yeovilton International Air Day in Somerset will take place on Saturday 7 July 2018.  Up to 40,000 visitors are expected to visit the Royal Navy’s premier public event at the spiritual home of the Fleet Air Arm.

RNAS Yeovilton International Air Day will demonstrate the Maritime Capability and Air Power not only from the Royal Navy but also our sister services – the British Army and the Royal Air Force in their centenary year – and our NATO and European allies.  Our aim is to display, either flying or static, the world’s most capable pilots and their aircraft.  It is a fantastic opportunity to see some outstanding equipment and meet our professional personnel in a family-friendly environment.

Alongside the magnificent five hour flying display there will also be a huge array of ground attractions, from engineering fairs to the latest defence technology exhibitions, Service displays, trade stalls and arena displays. For the thrill seekers there will be simulators, fairground rides and helicopter pleasure flights to enjoy.

Royal International Air Tattoo - 13-15 July 2018

The Air Tattoo, one of the UK's premier outdoor events, returns this summer on 13-15 July and will be marking a very special occasion in 2018, the centenary of the Royal Air Force and will come together to celebrate one hundred years of the Royal Air Force!

RAF100 at the Air Tattoo, a special one off event, is expected to include flying from the world famous Red Arrows and Britain's newest  aircraft, the F-35B Lightning! Friday will be a day not to miss in 2018. This special, full show day, will include a mass RAF flypast, a Royal Review of aircraft plus a lot more.  Three Full Days RAF100 at the Air Tattoo will be a full three day  event, with over 7 hours of amazing flying on all three days.   Friday will  be a  day not to miss, featuring a Royal Review of aircraft, a 7hr+ flying display and dramatic flypasts to celebrate the Centenary.  Due to the nature of this event, flying participants may be different on each day.

The Air Tattoo is staged in support of the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust, a charity set up in 2005 to support the wider RAF family.  As well as seeking  to develop a spirit of air mindedness in youngsters, it also aims to promote excellence with the Royal Air Force.

The Great British Prom - 11 August 2018

Clacton Airshow - 23-24 August 2018

2018 will once again see our award winning seafronts and west greensward be transformed over two days into a fun filled display/event site and flight viewing area.  The event site will welcome in the region of 250,000 visitors wowing the crowds with Impressive aerobatic displays whilst a whole host of exhibition stands, food court and on-site entertainment are available at ground level.

Sidmouth Regatta Flying Display

Sidmouth Town Council are delighted to announce that the RAF aerobatic team The Red Arrows will once again grace the skies over Sidmouth at the opening day of Sidmouth Regatta on Friday 24 August 2018.
With 2018 being the 100th Anniversary of the creation of the RAF, the Council is thrilled to also welcome the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight consisting of a Lancaster Bomber and two Spitfires.

Wings & Wheels is held over the August Bank Holiday weekend at Dunsfold Aerodrome, on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th August 2018.

The Victory Show - 31 August-2 September 2018

The 2018 Victory Show will run for 3 days from Friday 31st August to Sunday 2nd September. Held over a 100 acre site, the Show provides Historical Societies and re-enactments through various forces from several era's and theatres during the period of 1939-45. From Airmen to Infantry, the Victory Show opens a window in time to the fabulous 1940's.
