The Spitfire Society aims to be transparent in both decision making and how we spend our charitable funds.  The minutes of committees and our financial spend will be published below but may be redacted to comply with Data Protection legislation, commercially confidential information or sensitive issues.

Annual General Meeting 2020

To be held at the Aerospace Bristol Museum on 30th May 2020.

Members will have free access to the Museum and Concorde on the day and must pre-book in advance with the Treasurer or Membership Secretaries by 15 April 2020 at the latest.

Schedule

10am – Tea, coffee and biscuits served

1-2pm – Buffet lunch served

2-3pm – Presentations by Scott Booth on Laguna’s Spitfire Legacy and Victoria Taylor on the Luftwaffe's perspective on the Battle of Britain (presentation title to follow in due course) followed by Tea, coffee and biscuits served

3-5pm – AGM Business Meeting

Annual General Meeting 2019

The Spitfire Society Annual General Meeting will be held on 18 May 2019 between 12pm and 5pm at Boscombe Down Aviation Collection.

Annual General Meeting 2018

The Spitfire Society will be holding its annual general meeting on Saturday 5 May at 1.30pm in the Sir Daniel Gooch Theatre at the Museum of the Great Western Railway in Swindon.  There will be two presentations by well regarded and award winning authors Paul Beaver and Leo McKinstry, who will be available to sign books and speak to attendees.
