Wings & Roundels
Spitfire Wings, Flights and Roundels are groups of members who meet socially for lunch, dinner, etc. Each group decides what it wants to call itself, whether it be a Roundel, Flight or Wing and nominate a spokesperson to co-ordinate future meetings; when and where. Using our membership database the Society can establish where there are members living within a 15 to 20 mile radius and then send invitations to members inviting them to an inaugural meeting. Members who would like to start a Roundel should contact the Secretary. The Spitfire Society will provide initial support.

The Eastern Wing mans a stand at four or five airshows each season as well as gathering at North Weald Airfield for other meetings and events.
